How can you find a good property deal in Kingston?

The subject of a lack of Kingston property bargains over the last couple of years has always been near the top of most local landlord’s thoughts. I have built up an extensive database of every property sale in Kingston since the mid 2000 ’s, so am able to give an objective and unbiased opinion on what (and what doesn't) make a good property deal /investment.

Knowing what is and what has happened to the property market in Kingston, compared to say Richmond or Teddington, enables me to spot any trends or opportunities for buy to let landlords.

Here are some bargains that I spotted at the time and made a note of. It’s obvious other people thought the same as some have now resold a few years later. Elder House is a recently completed development built by St. James offering exceptional riverside city living in a truly iconic new landmark development just moments from Kingston Bridge. A 2 bed apartment in the development sold in December 2012 for just over £460,000. What a bargain though, because the owner sold it again just before Christmas for £563,000.... an impressive 22% increase in 11 months! (here is a pic)

Whether you are a landlord of ours or not or someone thinking of investing in rental market for the first time, please feel free to drop by our offices for any advice and opinion on where the bargains are in Kingston.

You see, as I don’t sell properties, I can look at the whole of the market. Our offices are opposite Kingston Hospital.
